Let's Begin this Journey Together
Pleasantville Christian School believes that through a whole-child approach, we can support the development of our students into compassionate, creative, and enlightened members of their community.
We believe that all children were created by God with a great capacity for learning. Children have a variety of strengths and that every individual child’s abilities should be honored and cultivated. The teacher’s role is vital as they inspire the learning and ensure that lessons are engaging and aligned to the needs of their students as well as the curriculum.
We believe that children are active participants in the learning process, and that process should be both joyful and meaningful.
We welcome the opportunity to partner with you, fostering growth, inspiring creativity, and paving the way for a prosperous future that honors our shared past and Christ-centered values.
Pleasantville Christian School was founded as a beacon of hope and joy for our community’s children and families. The idea for the school was formed by the founding families as they discovered a need for more options in our community’s educational programs. The founding families made up of educators, school administration, and parents, gathered together and discussed at length the core components that were missing from the educational experience. Joyful, Christ-centered learning experiences were at the top of that list. Compassion, creativity, community, and commitment were pillars of the conversations as well. Also central to the focus was honoring our past while preparing our children for the future. Developing our children to be whole, well-rounded, servants of Christ was absolutely key. It was through these tenants that the founders developed the mission, vision, and core values of the school - and through these lenses all decisions have been made.
Pleasantville has humble beginnings, from the kitchen tables where the ideas were born and developed by our founders, but we believe as in Job Chapter 8:7 “Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be.” Our school has been incredibly blessed already by the partnerships that have been formed, the families that have partnered with us, and the community members who have believed in what we are doing. We know that from these beginnings, we will continue to grow and bless the families and community that we serve by providing a joyful learning journey for every student.

"Pleasantville Christian School and their educators have far exceeded our expectations! The christ-centered values, curriculum, and the love shown from the staff and teachers is the reason we chose to send our son here. We HIGHLY recommend Pleasantville Christian!"
- Candi Thompson
"We chose Pleasantville because we needed more than what the public school was giving us. More one on one attention, a curriculum that not only takes us back to our roots but also teaches us ow to be self-sufficient, and first and foremost God. I feel confident that my child will grow not only spiritually, but as a stronger more confident human being because of the amazingly dedicated staff that shows incredible patience and love to not only my child, but all of the children that walk through the doors.
"
- Charlee Keeton
"From the first day we walked into Pleasantville for our inquisition meeting, it felt like home. The teachers and administrator were so nice and welcoming, my shy son didn’t want to leave! We love that they had summer events to get the kids used to the school and other students so that we could be comfortable sending our kiddos there. We are excited for this school year!"

Arrangements will be made at this time for monthly tuition payments and automatic withdrawals. Students joining the school mid-year will submit their online enrollment information before the first day of school attendance.

During this time, students will engage in the learning and classroom environment.
After the classroom visit, families will be able to meet with the building principal to clarify any additional questions that may arise during the visit.
